Our team shot in Seattle for a week, covering one of the biggest eSports events of the year &#8211; Valve&#8217;s DOTA2 tournament, The International with over $18 million in prize money.<\/p>\n<p>There has been a lot of talk and rhetoric over the past few years as eSports continues its ascent into a global pop-culture context. Is it really a sport? Are these kids playing video games and getting paid for it? These aren\u2019t athletes. They\u2019re geeks and nerds living in their parents\u2019 basement. And on and on&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>No more. High Score draws a hard line in the sand \u2013 these are modern-day warriors, the prototypical athletes of the 21st century.
